Individual Counseling
Feeling overwhelmed with a situation you don't know how to move through alone?
Much of my therapy practice is working with individuals who appreciate the safety and confidentiality of a therapist. It's a unique relationship that offers support, perspective and new skills to take back into the world with a renewed sense of self that is stronger and clearer about who you are becoming and how to move forward.

- Death/Suicide of a loved one
- Attention Difficulties/Motivation Problems
- Identity/Self Esteem
- How too much internet and texting might be sabotaging
We begin the work by discussing what issues motivated you to seek out individual therapy.
Together we explore the parts of your life that don’t seem to be
working anymore, and those patterns and habits that were once effective but are no
longer working and are now probably preventing you from being where you want to be.
In our work together I will support you, and challenge you. I will provide resources and take home assignments to help you during the week when your not in the office with me. Your experience in therapy will provide you with new tools to take back into your everyday life.
I often work from a Mindfulness/Buddhist tradition and incorporate mindfulness based practices into the counseling. Mindfulness practices help lower anxiety, depression, impulsiveness and stress.
